No. Gun Kote has excellent re-coating adhesion which simply means it will stick to itself well. To touch up an area that may have runs, lightly sand the area with #0000 Steel Wool or 600 Grit Sand Paper, Degrease, re-spray and cure. For areas that have light areas, simply degrease and re-spray.
